Our Operations

We’re here to connect, to support, and to grow.

We believe that we can make significant progress in this field and aim to develop a

community network of support, initiatives, and services that can unify the suicide

prevention and greater mental health environment. We aim to work with

businesses, organisations, communities, and governments to create an

interconnected network of support services so that we all can access the

opportunities we deserve. We aim to be a symbol of community, support, safety,

and hope.

So, what have we got planned?

What are we going to do to help?

We’re in our startup phase right now and we’re working as hard as we can to progress our organisation.

We’ve got several items planned on our road map that we intend to roll out. Keep scrolling and read about our future plans below!

As we continue to develop our website, we’ll add more details of what we’re up to and how you can get involved.

Education

We have a big focus on the culture of mental health and response to suicidality in education. We aim to work with schools and colleges to identify gaps in this space and apply solutions.
This could include providing schools access to funding, deploying suicide prevention programs, recognising warning signs, and connecting with support services in crisis.

Provide access to funding and training to individuals, professionals, organisations, and institutions so that our community can increase the availability of qualified mental health support.

Create and develop a public awareness and education campaign that’s focused on normalising mental health conversations and creating a better understanding in our communities.

Community

Kai

Create and maintain a fundraising campaign that our organisation will direct towards our community projects.

To create a digital environment that has three primary functions: to provide a private and secure place where people can share stories of challenges, crises, overcoming adversity, and their own journeys with mental health, to centralise a directory of support services and crisis management agencies based on the user’s location and preconfigured preferences, and to show a map of nearby activities, practices, services, and events that are happening ‘near-you’.

Create and develop a public awareness and education campaign that’s focused on normalising mental health conversations and creating a better understanding in our communities.

To interconnect existing charities, initiatives, and support services already working in this space to create the opportunity for a unified community. We aim to develop a membership across Central Queensland that can become a symbol of community and hope.
